Taking its name from her popular podcast, EVERYBODY IS A POEM is a compact collection of poems about love, loss, aging, the mental load, menopause and everything in between.

Jan's first poem at the height of the global pandemic 'What Day Is It? Who Gives a Fu ck' went viral and was the catalyst for her first collection, published by New Island in 2021. That book received widespread publicity across mainstream and digital media. Since her debut, Jan's successful live poetry readings (Electric Picnic, Mutiny Theatre, London Irish Centre) have engaged, amused and touched audiences.

With a wink and rhyme, Jan delivers her second collection of poems written with a combination of humour, wit and poignancy. Plain speaking and relatable, these new poems are the Dublin mam of two saying it as she sees it.
