At the turn of the millennium, there were few forwards in Gaelic football who possessed the wizardry of Roscommon’s Frankie Dolan.

He had it all – talent to burn, and an infectious, brazen relationship with the game. Frankie Dolan finished his career with only one Connacht SFC medal (2001) at county level, but 10 Roscommon titles with St Brigid’s, and four Connacht victories in addition to a glorious Club All-Ireland triumph in 2013, meant that the lethal forward entertained as only he could on the game’s greatest stages.
